Unexpected Places To Shop For Your Pet This Holiday Season

Like many, I was out bright and early Friday morning doing holiday shopping.  I’m always on the lookout for neat pet stuff, and was surprised at some of the retailers that had a good selection of pet products.

I found a pet puzzle toy, bag of dog cookies from KC based Three Dog Bakery, and a pet treat bakery kit at Bed Bath and Beyond.  I plan to go back today for the Frolicat automated laser toy for my cat Marty.  Prices were comparable to Amazon, in some cases even better with coupons.

If you have Stein Mart stores in your area, they offer a nice selection of products for dogs and cats such as beds, food and water bowls, and toys.  There is also a  variety of fun and unique pet themed products for pet lovers.  Prices are great and like most stores, they’re offering special deals and/or coupons.

Although Sam’s Club doesn’t have as large a gift selection as the stores mentioned above, they do have items like premium pet beds.  I bought one last year for Jessie that has a Serta memory foam mattress.  She loves it, and it’s a good price at $39.95.

During this busy time of year, it’s nice when you can take care of multiple gift buying at one location.  The stores I mentioned here are just a few of the options I’ve found so far this holiday season, have you found a store that surprised you with a great selection of pet gifts?  If so, please share here, we love finding new shopping destinations to buy for our pets!
