As a quote on pawnation.com says, “Saving one animal will not change the world, but for that one animal, the world will change forever.”

The top reasons why people abandon their dogs include landlord issues, cost of pet maintenance, lack of time, too many pets, sick pet, personal issues, inadequate facilities and biting.

The top reasons why people abandon their cats include allergies, moving, cost of care, landlord issues, house soling, personal problems, and the cat doesn’t get along with other pets.

Please remember to adopt a pet and make all the difference in the world. That’s one good reason to rescue your next furry, four-legged friend that outweighs all the reasons to abandon them.
