It’s the Cat’s Job to Make Fun of the Dog, Right?

Party Marty on the scene again! It’s Friday! Time for this cat to make fun of the dogs! Who’s with me?

Today, I am happy to provide you with comments on everyday items in your home and the definitions and uses dogs apply to them! Enjoy!

Leash: A strap that attaches to the dog’s collar, enabling him to lead his owner wherever he wants him or her to go.

Dog Bed: Any soft, clean surface, such as a white bedspread, newly upholstered couch or the dry cleaning that was just picked up. In other words, anything you have just cleaned that is comfortable becomes the dog’s bed.

Drool: What dogs do when their owners have food and they don’t. Insert pathetic-looking eyes here, too.

Garbage Can: A container your neighbors put out weekly to test your dog’s ingenuity. The dogs will stand on his hind legs and push the lid off with his nose. If done properly, he is rewarded with food wrappers to shred, beef bones to consume, moldy crusts of bread and sometimes even an old Nike.

Thunder: A signal the world is coming to an end. Humans remain amazingly calm during thunderstorms, so dogs like to show them it is necessary to warn them of the danger by trembling, panting, rolling their eyes wildly and following at their heels. Then, they show them the best place to take cover is under the bed.

Wastebasket: A dog toy filled with paper, envelopes and old candy wrappers. When bored, dogs can turn over the basket and strew the papers all over the house.

Sofas: These are to dogs like napkins are to people. These are where dogs wipe their faces and whiskers off to feel cleaner and refreshed.
