Cats: We Never Cease to Amaze!

The Spirit of Bo, come to enlighten his fans! Hi! Long time, no blog! You would be surprised as to how much you can accomplish in the afterlife, with all of this time on your hands. However, I do return on occasion simply to haunt that dog in the house, Jessie. I am still up to my old tricks in that regard!

Since it is Friday and your brain is probably tapped out for the week, I will spew forth a few fun an interesting trivia/facts for you about the most amazing animal in the world: the cat!

• The technical term for a cat’s hairball is a “bezoar.”
• While dogs can only make about 10 sounds, cats can generate up to 100 different sounds! Rock it!
• A cat’s brain is far more similar to a human brain than it is to a dog’s brain. Humans and cats have identical regions in their brains that are responsible for emotions. Yeah, we feel ya, baby!
• As Hebrew legend has it, when Noah prayed to God to help protect all of the food he had stored on the ark from being consumed by rats, God’s reply was simple, yet highly effective: he made the lion sneeze and out popped a cat!
• Sources say that about 1/3 of all cat owners think their pets can read their minds. If you only knew….
