When Posting Dog Proverbs, Beware the Sneaky Cat!

Jessie, the wonder dog: Since Party Marty did a little too much partying last night on Halloween, I am here to dispense today’s blog post while he recuperates from one too many treats. I know that our faithful readers are usually accustomed to reading Marty’s rants against dogs nearly every Friday. However, I have come to save the day. I found some pretty awesome dog proverbs online at amanada-project.org and found these to be far more edifying than the disrespectful dog jokes Marty sometimes posts. Read on…
“The greater love is a mother’s; then comes a dog’s; then a sweetheart’s.” – Polish proverb.
“A good dog deserves a good bone.” – US proverb
“If you are host to your guest, be a host to his dog also.” – Russian proverb
“Beware of a silent dog and still water.” – Latin proverb
“Every dog is allowed one bite.” – US proverb
(And suddenly, out of nowhere, Party Marty unleashes his fervor against the unsuspecting Jessie. Still in a post-Halloween treat stupor, he feverishly types on the computer, much to Jessie’s dismay – “And if you stop every time a dog barks, your road will never end.” – Saudi Arabian proverb.)
Jessie then speaks: Hey, Marty! Let’s go back to the one that indicates every dog is allowed one bite! Get back here!
Make it a great weekend, folks!
