What’s in a (Dog’s) Name?

Bolt, guest Yorkie-Poo blogger, here to dish on interesting dog names:
Whatever happened to traditional dog names like Spot, Rover, and even Snoopy? Why do people have to give their pets strange names? Sometimes even titles? I don’t get it. I guess folks just want their dogs to stand out as the leader of the pack, if only with a name.
I have an interesting name and I like it. It’s kind of cool. I was named after a dog that had a movie named after him. Names are a great way to give a dog some personality. Mine suits me just fine. However, if I had a hankering to change my name to something more regal, more unique, more interesting or just plain weird that everyone who heard it would cock their heads to one side like a confused dog, I might choose one of the following monikers. (Perhaps I can pick out a cool middle name here!)
Check out these, shall we say, unusual dog names. I am surprised no one posted Xerox, Yahoo or Amazon as dog names! Thanks to babydognames.com for this information!
