What is the Weather Like Outside? Just Ask the Cat…But Be Sure to Give Him a Dog First!

Party Marty here, refreshed from a long weekend nap that extended well into Monday! So…where was I?  Oh, yes….I believe I need to exercise my verbal prowess when it comes to poking fun of the dog. But, first, let’s get to the weather forecast. I have a bit of training in this regard and can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that the following methods are pretty clear indicators of the weather conditions in your area. Again, these are great ways your cat can tell you what the weather is like outside! All that your cat needs is the dog. Read on…

To tell the weather, go to your back door and look for the dog. If the dog is at the door and is wet, it’s a safe bet it is raining (or, he has been running through the sprinkler!). If the dog is soaking wet while standing there, then the rain is probably coming down really hard!

If the fur on the dog looks unkempt, then it is most likely windy.

If the dog is covered in snow, then chances are, it is snowing.

Of course, in order for your weather predictions to be accurate, you have to leave the dog outside at all times.
