And This is Why You Should Celebrate Your Pet’s Birthday!

Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday! Hey! It’s someone’s birthday today, right? Let’s celebrate! Party Marty here, ready to get his party on. I am here to tell you that celebrating birthdays as humans is great, but did you know that it’s also an awesome idea to celebrate your pet’s birthday, too?

If your pet is a special part of your family, then he should enjoy being in the spotlight on his special day – whether it is his birthday or the anniversary of his adoption. And here is my take on why it is important to celebrate such a monumental occasion.

First of all, it’s FUN!!!!!! It’s fun for everyone in the family! If you have kids, let them help create decorations, plan refreshments or even shop for one of those edible pet treats from the pet store. All it takes to make the celebration complete is to sing a rousing rendition of the Happy Birthday song; give your pet his new toy/treat and shower him with extra hugs and kisses! Be sure to pose for a selfie with him!

And think about this: In your day-to-day busy lives, sometimes your pet may not get all the love, attention and affection he needs and deserves. Celebrating a birthday for and with him will give you the chance to spoil him up one side and down the other

And here is another thought! In honor of your pet celebrating yet another milestone, you can make a donation to a local pet shelter. Just sayin’….

So….get your celebration hats on and party like it’s…well, like it’s your pet’s special day!
