Give Your Older Pet a Helping Hand

Earlier today I was talking with a friend whose 14-year-old collie is no longer able to navigate the stairs at home.  This friend told me she has been carrying the dog up and down the stairs, not an easy task considering the dog weighs 45-50 lbs.

I suggested she check into a mobility harness for the dog to make it easier and safer for both her and the dog.  She wasn’t aware of the harnesses and thanked me for giving her the information.

If you have an older dog and are having trouble getting her up and down stairs, consider investing in a mobility harness.  There are several companies that make them and the price point is often $20 or less.

This is a good investment for you and your dog’s safety and comfort.
