The USPS has launched a national campaign to educate the public about dog bite prevention. There were more than 5000 mail carriers attacked last year, resulting in medical expenses in excess of $1.2 million. Here’s a list of the cities with the most attacks and how many happened in each:

Columbus! OH/San Diego-tied with 45 each

San Antonio/St Louis-39 each

Minneapolis/Portland, OR-35 each
Denver/Philadelphia-31 each
